August 7, 2018
BOSTON — August 7, 2018 — AppNeta, the leader in network and end-user experience performance monitoring for the distributed enterprise, today announced the appointment of Larry Whitman to the Company’s Board of Directors. Whitman’s promotion comes out of recognition of his outstanding work leading AppNeta’s financial strategy and execution.
Whitman became Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at AppNeta four years ago. His strategic operating prowess, team-building focus, and contract negotiations experience have made him an essential part of AppNeta’s leadership team. Whitman was also integral in securing AppNeta’s recent growth investment from Rubicon Technology Partners in early 2018.
“It’s truly an honor to be invited to join the AppNeta Board of Directors. I look forward to partnering closely with the Board as we continue to guide AppNeta’s strategic growth, said Larry Whitman.”
Previously, Whitman held senior financial leadership roles at HighRoads, Colubris Networks, Eggrock Partners, and Shiva Corporation. In these roles, he has consistently shown the ability to drive operational improvements, increase company value, raise capital, and close on strategic transactions.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Larry to our Board of Directors. I’m confident that Larry’s presence on the Board will help us enhance agility and further accelerate AppNeta’s growth”, said Matt Stevens, Chairman, President, and CEO of AppNeta.
