Company recognized for ability to execute and completeness of vision
February 14, 2019
BOSTON — February 14, 2019 — AppNeta, the leader in actionable, end-to-end network performance monitoring, today announces their placement as a Visionary in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics. AppNeta was recognized for its ability to execute and completeness of vision.
AppNeta offers a SaaS-based solution focused on monitoring SaaS and web-based applications from the perspective of the remote office. AppNeta Performance Manager combines active network path monitoring of application delivery, application usage analysis, and synthetic web transactions for user experience. All of this empowers enterprise IT with the deep insights and local perspective they need to diagnose the root cause of performance issues wherever they take place across the app delivery path.
Data collection is enabled by physical or virtual appliances that are installed at remote locations to perform analysis on network paths, flows, packets, and web/URLs–the tenets of comprehensive, four-dimensional network performance monitoring. Along with the introduction of a private cloud option for AppNeta Performance Manager, the company is investing in 100 Gbps appliances to better address the needs of the data center, in addition to native monitoring points within popular IaaS platforms. This improves AppNeta’s ability to deliver the scalability large enterprise customers need to manage thousands of remote locations.
“As AppNeta continues to solve the toughest performance visibility challenges for large enterprises, we’re amazed at the rapid pace of business critical application deployment evolution in the remote office.” said Matt Stevens, CEO of AppNeta. “To us, it’s gratifying to have customers and analysts alike recognize how AppNeta is rising to the challenge with this evolution, and to be named a Visionary in this Gartner Magic Quadrant.”
