Ways to Deploy AppNeta
Choose Flexibility With an AppNeta Deployment
Modern infrastructures are virtualized, flexible and complex. We offer options that make sense so you can tailor your monitoring deployment accordingly. When you're implementing AppNeta's monitoring tool, you'll get two components: a Monitoring Point and an Analysis Server.
Monitoring Points live at key network points (either via a network span or connected inline) and function as data collectors, sending data to an Analysis Server. Monitoring points are placed at the network egress point for usage analysis and as a standard user in any switch port and on WiFi. The Analysis Server is the data aggregator and analytics engine, and supports multiple Monitoring Points. Those Monitoring Points are purpose-built to handle the specific demands of light-weight, but high-frequency monitoring. Due to the variety of options, the deployment can be right-sized to your needs. To see example deployment scenarios, click here.
The initial setup is web-based and very straightforward. It takes 15 minutes to have an appliance ready for deployment. Entry-level technicians provision the devices and we are quickly able to begin seeing what is going on in our customers' networks.

See which deployment method works for you. Start with the points you'll be monitoring, then pick how you'll serve up AppNeta's technology.
Choose the endpoints where you want to monitor network performance, using either our purpose-built physical appliances, virtual machine installs, or Docker containers.
Use the AppNeta-hosted shared public cloud server—totally free. Or choose a dedicated instance or private on-premises deployment.
