AppNeta wins 2021 Cloud Computing Product of the Year from TMC
by Paul Davenport Paul Davenport on

Hot on the heels of our recent CUSTOMER Product of the Year win, TMC has again recognized AppNeta for our outstanding approach to enabling enterprises to monitor and manage their rapidly evolving network footprints. This time, we’ve been named a 2021 Cloud Computing Product of the Year, proving yet again that as the world was forced to adopt a whole new way of working, AppNeta was at the ready, helping IT teams keep track of end-user performance for their business’ most critical apps.

For more than 20 years, TMC has been awarding technology vendors and solutions that are on the cutting edge of enterprise innovation. This particular award honors the most innovative, useful, and beneficial cloud products and services that have been available to deploy within the past year, which was a period that truly put cloud strategies and enterprise networks to the test.

For AppNeta, this meant wasting no time in working hand-in-hand with our enterprise customers to identify their greatest visibility needs and how AppNeta can deliver seamlessly. As a result, we launched the widespread deployment of our Workstation Monitoring Point technology, which enables enterprise IT to monitor end-user experience for any remote users, from any location, at any time.

This included the ability to deploy outside-in monitoring into the cloud environments delivering the business-critical applications and SaaS workflows that enable businesses to operate in a Work From Anywhere world. This is a critical step for enterprise IT, as end users by and large expect some element of remote work going forward, according to the findings of AppNeta’s 2021 State of Work From Anywhere Outlook.

Not only do 81 percent of knowledge workers hope for an element of remote work to carry over into their post-pandemic work life, but more than 20 percent of respondents to our survey have actually relocated over the course of the pandemic. As a result, enterprise IT teams are now responsible for managing not just more individual users (as opposed to user cohorts at branch offices or headquarters), but also performance expectations across a more disparate network footprint.

Leaders in the Cloud, Work From Anywhere

This latest recognition comes off of a string of award wins and industry recognition for AppNeta, as we’ve been lauded for our product, our customer outreach and support efforts, and even our workplace over the past year, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.

The Business Intelligence Group (BIG) recently recognized AppNeta as one of the 38 winners of the Stratus Awards for Cloud Computing, cementing our status as a leader in the cloud and a trusted partner for businesses during challenging times. This was later followed up by our win for the 2021 BIG Innovation Award, which similarly recognized products that pushed the envelope on innovation over the course of the pandemic. But that’s just the beginning.

We were also recently recognized by BuiltIn as one of the leading workplaces in Boston, while regularly being included in various Best Workplace rankings, even as the workforce moved away from physical offices.

This broad swath of recognition across the different areas of the company can, in many ways, be attributed to the fact that we practice what we preach and use our own winning solution to keep our decentralized (and growing!) team connected. We have a product that’s geared ideally for the cloud and enabling Work From Anywhere, and our own success over the course of the past year is a perfect example of ethos in action: Being the enterprise partner for digital transformation.

Our SaaS-based cloud platform is designed to monitor enterprise networks with thousands of locations and apps. So while other NPM solutions may claim to go big, we’ve actually done it, partnering with some of the largest Fortune 1000 companies, including 3 out of the 5 largest corporations in the world, as well as 4 out of the 5 largest cloud providers.
