AppNeta named a “Visionary” in 2019 Gartner NPMD Magic Quadrant

Delivering visibility is central to everything we do at AppNeta. Not only does our platform allow enterprise IT to see into all corners of their network, but transparency and clarity is central to how we operate as a company, too.

It’s fitting, therefore, that AppNeta was named a Visionary in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics (NPMD). This report recognizes leading solutions that are combining elements of AIOps and NPMD in ways that provide deeper visibility than is currently available from other vendors.

It’s easy to see why AppNeta stands apart from other solutions in the report: We simply deliver the most comprehensive insights available. We collect and analyze four dimensions of network and app data including network paths, flows, packets and synthetic web/URL information to ensure all performance metrics are delivering a complete end-to-end picture of performance. AppNeta Performance Manager can scale up as organizations grow with the ability to monitor hundreds of remote locations, regardless of the ISP or cloud provider. And because our solution was designed with the end user in mind, AppNeta allows centralized IT to gain a local perspective of user experience regardless of geographic barriers.

Our ability to perform path analytics from the edge all the way to the application/service origination provides value as more workloads migrate to the cloud and traditional data-center-centric monitoring approaches fail to deliver. Our solution is able to bridge gaps in network visibility that teams lose when they retire ownership and control of all network pathways. AppNeta Performance Manager incorporate AIOps methodologies with automatic monitoring escalation and comparison against pattern matching algorithms to deliver root cause analysis and reduce MTTR. As a result, we’re able to deliver greater detail into performance than standard software-defined networking tools are able to on their own.

AppNeta is also unique for being one of the only network performance monitoring tools that can be delivered “as-a-Service.” Because we’re a SaaS solution, AppNeta can be deployed quickly across large enterprise networks that are already embracing a migration to the cloud. This combined with our low-overhead approach to inspecting traffic and routes places minimal burden on network capacity.

We enhanced our platform a wealth of new features within AppNeta Performance Manager in the last year as well, including our recent DNS capabilities, as well as greater support for private cloud deployment. This along with the introduction of our new and improved suite of monitoring points -- including the upcoming rollout of data center appliances capable of up to 100 Gbps -- helps put us on course for another Visionary year.
