Works on Any Network
One major challenge with traditional Flow analysis systems is that you need network devices capable of generating NetFlow records to have any insight into network use. But what about offices where you don’t have NetFlow capable devices? FlowView was designed to work on any network, giving you the same detailed insight on networks of all sizes.
For larger offices FlowView can be connected to a span or mirror port. For offices without this option PathView appliances can be placed inline, giving complete visibility without introducing a single point of failure thanks to the automatic fail-to-wire capability which automatically re-connects the connection to the internet if the PathView appliance has an issue of any kind.

Intelligent Packet Capture
With FlowView Plus you can not only identify the applications in use, you can perform Wireshark compatible packet captures easily and securely from any PathView Appliance. These packet captures can initiated manually, by a schedule or intelligently by a PathView of FlowView alert (coming April). All packet captures are encrypted using military grade encryption (AES 256-bit, FIPS 140-2 compliant) with a passphrase that is never shared with AppNeta.

Accurate End User Experience
AppView Web gives you an accurate picture of the users experience of a web application by using the web application like a real user. Simply start the AppView Web browser plugin and then use the web application normally to automatically create a script for AppView Web to follow. Realistic application use with no need to learn a complicated scripting language.

Continuous Insight
The steps in the script, including authentication, will be automatically followed by AppView Web every few minutes. When your web application is not performing well or errors are seen you can be notified with integrated intelligent alerting (Coming in March)
